2010 Fitness for a Cure Gala

Hello Fitness for a Cure Supporter,
We have some exciting news to share! The Fitness for a Cure Galas will be combined into one event in 2010 with a brand new venue! The 11th Annual Fitness for a Cure Gala will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA. Save the date!
Once again the Greater Merrimack Valley communities will proudly unite to support the efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
We expect the 2010 event to re-invent the Fitness for a Cure Gala. We are hopeful that you will join our vision; “those that are strong in mind and body should give back to the sick and less fortunate”. We are continually looking for additional committee members and hope you will want to join us in our when we kick off our preparations for the 2010 event. Please reach out to me if you would like updates on committee meetings and needs for the event.
Our entire committee remains motivated by the fact that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is one of the world’s premier centers for research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. Children from all 50 states and around the world have come through the doors of St. Jude for treatments. In addition, thousands more around the world have benefited from the research conducted at the hospital – research that is shared freely with the global medical community, even right here in Merrimack Valley. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatments that are not covered by insurance. No child is denied treatment because of a family’s inability to pay.
We are a very fortunate community. In these economic times, covering all medical and transportation costs and never turning away a family for the inability to pay is even more critical. Thank you for joining us with time, talent and gifts to join forces with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
